City Hall, Monday, December 10th 1934 -,7:30 P.M.
City Council met in adjourned session. In the absence of I:iayor L.F.Sinsheimer
and Vice =resident of the Council L.J.Defosset, Callmissioner of Public horks J.B.Berkemeye
was duly elected to preside.
,resent : J.B.Berkeneyer, p.P.Howell, Joseph Leary.
Absent : L.J.Defosset, Ilayor L.F.insheimer.
The application of Lloyd I. Pettenger for permit to make an addition to Lunch
Counter at 1darsh and Osos;�btreet ( Block 105 ) at a Cost of $ 25.00 was granted on motion
of :i.P.aowell seconded by Joseph Leary..
Plans presented by the Standard Oil Company for propoaed::reconstruction of
present driveways at Service Station corner of Lionterey and Santa 3osa Street wiere approve
on motion duly seconded and carried.
Petition of 3risco 1rursery for permit to install Christmas Trees on sidewalks
business District for Holiday Season granted
Merchandising Bond of Earl's Shoe Store, Ltd., secured by a Certified Check
n the amount of a 200.00 was ordered cancelled and the Certified Check ordered returned,
lieving the Principal of further liability under said Bond.
The report of the City Collector for the month of iJovember 1934, received and
redred placed on file.
Application of R.L.Bishop for license for Lunch Counter at 666 Higuera Street
rented on motion of Joseph Leary seconded by R.P.Howell.
Application of California Home building and Loan Co., by 1,:.W-Fitzgerald, Agent.,
'or permit to remove 3ucapyptus Trees from private Alley on Garden Street between Islay
treet and Buchon Street granted on motion duly seconded and carried.
Petition of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company forzpermit:to replace
two telephone poles on Santa moss Street between Sycamore Street and biive Street with new
poles and transfer present equipment ,thereto:..wae granted on motion of R.P.Howell
seconded by Joseph Leary.
On motion of Joseph Leary seconded by R.P.Howell the meeting adjourned.
