Petition of the E.P.I.C. Democratic Qlub !0. 4 protesting against the type
of lights installed, or proposed to be installed vas, after discussion, received ana
ordered placed on file, on motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by R.F. Howell.

He: registered inspector for Court House Building. Latter continued to

It was moved by R.P. Howell, seconded by J.B. Berkemeyer and unanimously
carried that 025.00 be contributed to the Salvation Army Kitchen to provide food for
transients during the month of March. It was further stipulated that the full sum be
used locally for the above named purpose and that no part thereof be sent to Salvation
Army headquarters.
Applications of I.1idland Counties Public Service Corporation ;dos. 222, 223,
224, 225 and 226 for certain work, particularly described in the said applications,
were laid over for one week.
The merchandising Bond of E.H. Ooley, with L. H. I'onett and George R.
Leonard as Sureties was approved and the sureties accepted, on motion of I?.P. Howell,
seconded by L.J. Defosset.
On motion of L.J. Defosset, seconded by .P. Howell the following'applicotionsi
for permit to hang signs were granted, with the provisions that work comply with
Ordinance and be done under supervision of City Engineer:

The number of precinct polling places for the General I:Iunic.ipal Election
to be held in the City on April 1st were tentatively set; and matter continued to
Tuesday, I.4arch 12th at 7:30 P.T.I.
On motion of J.B. Berkeineyer, seconded by L.J. Defosset the meeting
adjourned to Ruesday, 1:arch 12th, 1935, at 7 :50 F.I:I., for the transaction of such
business as may come before it.
