The minutes of August 3rd and 10th were read and approved as read.
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of

Application of the Valley Electric Company for permit to construct and hang a

Petition of Joseph A. Souza for permit to string Banner across Monterey Street at
nta Rosa Street advertising Cambria Rodeo - September 6th - granted on motion of
.B.Berkemeyer seconded by L.J.Defosset.

On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.5erkemeyer the following licenses were
ordered cancelled:

January Qt. 1936 - 1233 - Wooden Shoe Cafe restaurant 5.00 10.00
Re : unpaid licenses of -E.D. li!oodruff as =Heal Estate dealer: : :7 tter discussed.
At the re,uest of the :.iayor, Vice President of the ;ouncil L.J.Defosset assumed the Chair,
and it visa moved by. -Joseph Leary , seconded by Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer and carried that the
City attorney take the matter to'Court and test out by.Criminal Action.
It was moved by R.p.Howell seconded by L.J.Defosset and carried,tthat a_fencecbe
installed along the bank of San Luis Obispo Creek at :farsh and Ida Streets.
