The report of the City Clerk for the month ending, April 30th 1938 received and
ordered placed on file.
Application of A.O.Righetti for license for Soft Drinks at 316 Higuera Street
granted on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell.
Application of B.F.Loveall for permit to change a park :sidewalk into a full width
sidewalk ( 60 ft on the south side of ?- :onterey Street between Grand Avenue and the City
limits ) granted on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary, with the provision that
work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
Application of Arthur King for permit to recess curb of sidewalk for a 12 foot
driveway on the north side of Leff Street between Morro Street and Chorro Street granted
th the provision that work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
On favorable report and motion of J.B.Berke;aeyer seconded by R:P.HoiArell the
etition of i.irs J.Z'_.Fitzpatrick for permit to remove two trees from sidewalk area at her
residence at 1035 Islay Street :+-.--s granted.
Re : petition of Eleanor Williams for permit to construct a Garage 20 feet from
property line on Lot 2 Block 9 Commissioner R.P.Howell reported favorable and on his
motion seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the patition was granted.
Fetition of Guy Farnham for pewit to connect with Sewer on Church Street between
pomo Street and High Street granted ; work to be done under supervision of City 'Engineer.
Unfinished matters continued.
