Claims of Harry-E.Haskins, Sheriff of the County of San Luis Obispo, being for
Teletype :.service from April lst to April.30th and from May 1st to May 31st 1938, in the
amount of $'15.00 for each month as per agreement, were ordered paid on motion of J.B.Berke
seconded by R.P.F.owell.
Claim of Harry E. Haskins, Sheriff of the County of San Luis Obispo,'in the amou
of $ 12.00, being for 48 meals at .25 cents per mehl furnished prisoners committed to
San Luis Obispo County Jail by Police Judge for the month of April 1938 , was ordered denie
on motion of Joseph Leary seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer.
Claim of H.J.Bello in the amount of 0 18.00 for certain alleged damages to his':
automobile by a City owned Car was referred to the Commissioner of Finance for investigati
and report to the Council.
Claims against the City for the month of May were ordered paid, subject to the
roval of the heads of the respective departments and the I.Iayor, on motion of R.P.Howell
conded by J.B.Berkemeyer.
The report of the City Collector on unpaid licenses for April quarter 1938
eferred to the Police Department for collection.
Application of Santos Bros., by J.N.Santos, for permit to hang.a sign at 1023
rro Street, granted; work to be done in accordance with provisions of Ordinance and under
ervision of the City Engineer.
Unfinished matters continued.
