Ordinance No. 189 ( New Series ) An Ordinance establishing grades on Grand A
between Palm Street.and Murray Street in the City of San Luis Obispo was introduced and
passed to print, on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by L.J.Refosset by the following vote
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes :.None.
Absent: None.
Unfinished matters continued.

The following applications for permit to build were granted
Angelini Ferrini - Residence part Lot 6 Block 38 Cost 20000.00
Clara Sauer - Change Store Front Block 96 Mission Vineyard Tr. Cost 10000.00
On motion of .Joseph Leary seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the application of H.J.Dubin
for permit to build a double garage on a part of Block 126 Murray and Church Addition
referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for investigation and report to the Council.'
Petition of E.M.Bernard for permit to construct a reinforced concrete Culvert
across a portion of Lot 10 of the Deleissigues Tract referred to the Commissioner of Public
Works and the City Engineer for investigation and report.
Petition of Union Oil Company for permit to out pavement 31 a 18' at the intersection
of Garden and Pismo Streets for the purpose of locating leak in Oil Line granted, on motion
of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Leary work to be done under-the supervision of the
City Engineer.
Petition of M. Lopez for permit to connect with sewer on Buchon Street between
Essex Street and Southern Pacific Company right -of -way referred to the Commissioner of
Public Works for investigation and report.
Application of W.P.Fuller Co., by C.C.Williams, for registration as Class ^ E "
Contractor, together with Fidelity and Deposit Company Bond in the-amount of $ 500.00 and
registration fee of $ 15.00 received, and on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer,
it was ordered that the Surety.be accepted, bond approved and registration granted.
Communication of Benj. F. Loveall, Chapter Chairman of American Red Cross extending
Invitation the the Councii to attend Annual meeting of the Chapter at Guild Hall, January
30th, ordered placed on file and Clerk directed to acknowledge receipt.
