Application of L. C. Henderson for zermit.to remove 40 ft. of bituminous
sidewalk and replace same with cement sidewalk on the north side of Buchon Street between
rro and Cborro Streets granted. Work to be done under the supervision of the City
snaneer.
Matter of Lowe Sanitary District Sewer laid over for opinion of City ittorney.
Re: California Highway matter. City Attorney presented and read Resolution,
approving the determination of the Department of Public !;Yorks of the State of California
as to the location of Highway Routes through the City of San Luis Obispo. Matter dis-
cussed and it was moved by R. P. Howell, seconded by J. B. Berkemeyer that the Resolution
be adopted. Further discussion. Motion withdrawn. Matter to be taken up at next meeting.
Re: Sewer on Caudill Street. It was moved by J. B. Berkemeyer, seconded by
P. P. Howell that the City Engineer present to the Council, plans, specifications and
:stimate of cost for sewer to be laid on Caudill Street. Motion carried.
It was moved by J. B. Berkemeyer, seconded by R. P. Howell that the City
ineer be requested and directed to submit to the Council a list of repairs and im-
eats -and the cost thereof necessary to be done on the streets, that have been re-
quested by the Highway Commission, to be designated as #101 Highway through the City.
It was moved by J. B. Berkemeyer, seconded by R. -P. Ho�^rpll that the meeting
9ourn to Friday, May 5th, 1939 at 7:30 P. 11.

Application of San Toaquin Power Division, Pacific Gas 8: Electric Company,
go. 255 for permit to replace existing poles on Nipomo, Mill and Broad Streets between

received and referred to the Commissioner of Public '!Forks for investigation and report
to the Council.
The petitions of C. C. Lang, Lee A. Sarter, Lovis Reynolds, J. E. Dearborn
Mary G. Jackson for permit to remove certain trees from sidewalk area at their
premises on Islay Street on account of Street improvement :•:ork were granted on motion
duly seconded and carried.
