Resolution No. 421 (New Series) A Resolution approving the determination of
the Department of Public Works of the State of California as to the location of Highway
routes through the City of San Luis Obispo was passed and adopted as amended, on motion
of J. B. Berkernever, seconded by Joseph Leary by the folloxing vote:

Ordinance Yo. 197 (New Series) - In Ordinance providing for the levy and
collection of a tax to pay the principal and interest of the "City of San Luis Obispo
'^'ater Bonds of 1939, Series A" was introduced and passed to print on motion of L. J.
Defosset, seconded by J. B. Eerkemever, by the follo:-ring vote:

nRs.yor L. F. Sinsheimer presented the following check_ from Santa Maria Gas
Company:
(1) A check in the amount of tr$ 4,922.23, being a refund of charges on Street lighting
at the rate of 171, cents per standard up to and including month of April 1939, with the
understanding that said standards became property of City of San Luis Obispo on April
1, 1928and all liability for the maintenance and removal of same and replacement of
sidewalks on removal of said standards rests on City of fan Luis Obispo.
(...2) A check in the amount 'of $201.05, being adjustment of incidental items to date with
City of S;nn Luis Obispo, including allo,.°,ance for 100 H. P. Westinghou9e Motor, sold to
City of San Luis Obispo, August 22, 1927.
Mayor Sinsheimer also stated that he expected to present a check from Midland
Counties Public Service Corp. for about $9000.00 as a refund on charges paid them.
Mayor L. F. :Sinsheimer advised next he had created a Trust and had assigned
his salary warrants to said. Trust to be invested - the income from mhich, and the
r. r.incipal in the discretion of the trustees, is to be used for the 'aid and comfort of
the residents of the City of San Luis Obispo.
