Kennedy, seconded by W.H. Brazil; work to be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. The petition of Flora Grace Romero to remove tree at-the corner of Hathway and Third Streets was granted, on motion of W. H. Brazil, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy. ' Communication received from the San Luis Obispo City Schools relative to new water mains, stating that estimate given was approved,.and on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by W;'H. Brazil, the City Engineer was instructed to proceed with the improvement as outlined in letter. Resolution No. 615 (New Series) - A Resolution providing for the Execution of an Agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo and the State of California relating to receiving into the'City's sewage system, treating and disposing of sewage from the Calif- ornia Polytechnic School was passed and adopted on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by W. H. Brazil by the following roll call vote: Ayes: W.H.Brazil, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, F. The report of the City Treasurer for the month of July, 1941 was ordered received and filed, as was also the Forty - Fifth Annual Report of the San Luis Obispo "Public Library for the Fiscal year ending June 30, 1941. The Tentative Budget for the year 1941 -42 was presented to the Council and on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded-by-W.H. Brazil, same was ordered received and filed. Ordinance No. 230 (New Series) - An Ordinance levying a tax for the current fiscal year ( 1941 -1942) upon all taxable property within the city of San Luis Obispo and fixing the rate of such tax was introduced and passed tb print ,-on motion of R.
