Re: Communication from C. 0' Leary relative:to clearing street line and communication from R. S. Shatford relative to the acceptance of the extehsion of Fix1ini Street was ordered received and filed on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by W.H.Brazil. Petition of Mrs. Mary Silvera et-al regarding a Boulevard Stop was held over until the next meeting. Communication from J. F. Hoover relative to condition of Santa Barbara Ave. was ordered filed on motion of R.P. Howell, seconded by TN. H. Brazil. The following applications for permit to connect with sewer were granted on motion of R. P. Rowell, seconded by W. H. Brazil, work to be done under the super- vision of the City Engineer: W. I. Davis - Sewer connection on Morro St. between Buchon and Islay Streets Tony Tavares - " " on Branch St: between King and Harris Streets R. M. Feuerbacher - " " " Rachel St. between Osos and High Streets The application of G. R. Greenelsh for permit to build an addition of one room to present building, part of Phillips & Beebee Addition was granted on motion of R. P. Rowell, seconded by W. H. Brazil. The City Collector's report.for delinquent licenses was held over for snot week. In Re: Application No. 10,216 Permit # 5882 from the State of California, Department of Public Works, was received and ordered filed on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by W. H. Brazil. Dunklee - Sewer cone. on Longview Ave. Clarence Elliot - " ° Branch St. between King and Hutton Streets The application of Jerry Landreth for sidewalk and curbing on the North side of Missibn Street between Broad and Chorro Streets was granted on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by W.H. Brazil. Communication received from J. J. Jordan, Supt. of the Southern Pacific Railroad Co. was referred to the City Attorney for study. Resolution No. 624 (New Series) - A Resolution granting to the Southern Pacifi Company permission and the right and privilege, in connection with and as incident to the operation of its steam railway for the transportation of passengers and freight, to con- struct at grade, maintain and operate one additional track across Osos Streetin the City of San Luis Obispo was passed and adopted on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by W.H.Brazil upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: W.H.Brazil, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, F.C.Kimball, Joseph Leary Noes: None Absent: None The amended report of the City Treasurer for the month of August, 1941 and report for the month of September, 1941, and the City Cleric's report for the month of September, 1941 were ordered received and filed. Re: Bids for insurance for Public Liability and Property Damage off[ the city's motorized equipment received October 6, 1941, Commissioner Ralph C. Kennedy reported that the bid of Evans Brokerage Co., Agent of the-Connecticut Indemnity Co. in the amount of $512.61 was.the lowest bid received. It was moved by Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R.P. .Howell.that the bid of Evans Brokerage Co. being the lowest and best bid of all bids received, that the inaurance be awarded to Evans Brokerage Co. Motion carried. Re: Application of San Luis Obispo City Schools for permit to move building was held over. The following applications were granted on motion of W.H.Brazil, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy: Jack E. Re: Petition from Mrs. Mary Silvera et a1 relative to Boulevard Stop was ordered received and filed: Resolution No. 625 (New Series) - A Resolution declaring certain portions of Osos Street, High Street, Buchon Street, Broad Street and North Broad Street to be and constitute boulevards was passed and adopted on- motion of W. H.Brazil, seconded by R. P. Rowell by the following roll call vote: Ayes; W.H.Brazil R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, F. C. Kimball, Joseph Leary Noes: None Absent: None On motion of Ralph C.
