Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, F. C. Kimball, Joseph Leary Absent: None The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded,by W. H. Brazil: Harmony Valley Creamery.- Truck shed - Part of Block 60, Cost. 900.00 Southern Pacific R.R. Co.. - To change location of 2 buildings on part of Lots 7 -8 -9 and block 3, Buena Vista Addn. and place on new conc. foundation,. Cost 500.00 Toe and Lena Parotti -.Garage - Lot 69 Blk. 1, Norton Addn: n 350.00 Mr. & Mrs. P. IV. Caughlan - Res. and Garage, Lot 1, Blk 2, Anholm Addn. Cost 4600.00 The.a.pplication of the Pacific Tel. and Tel. Co.. for permit to install under- around conduit was referred.to the Commissioner of Public Works for investigation and report, on motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by R. P. Howell. The application for neon sign for U. S. 0. Building-by Electrical Products Corp. on Santa_Rosa St, was granted on motion of W. H. Brazil, seconded by R. P.Howell; work'to'bo done"gnder• the supervision of the City Engineer and existing ordinance. The report of the Police Judge for the month of December, 1942 was ordered received and filed. The time table showing schedules and fares presented by the Jones Trans- portation Service was referred to the City Attorney for study and report back . to the . Council, on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell. On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by W. H. Brazil it was ordered that thel City renew their membership in the League of Municipalities for the year of 1942, upon the following vote: Ayes: R.P.Howell, Ralph'C. Kennedy, F. C. Kimball Noes: Joseph Leary Absent: None The. application of Eugene E. Gregg for city- licenses for pool hall at 168 . Higuera St. was granted on motion of W:.H. Brazil, seconded by R. P. Howell. Ordinance No..235 (New Series) - An Ordinance prohibiting the operating of radio receiving sets, music boxes, player pianos, phonorgraphs and other machines or devices for the producing or reproduction of sound between the hours of twelve o'clock midnight and seven o'clock A. M. of the following morning in placas of business; prohibit- ing the operation of any such devices at any time'in such manner that.the peace and good order of the neighborhood is disturbed, and providing-a.penalty for the violation of such ordinanee, was inproduced and passed to print on motion of R. P. Howell,.seconded by W. H. Brazil, upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: W. H. Brazil, R.P. Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, F. C. Kimball, Joseph Leary Noes: None Absent: None Resolution No:--647 (New Series) - A Resolution approving the elimination of two bronze placques'from the Sewage Disposal Plant was passed and adopted on motion of 'W.
