M. Re: Compensation of Election Officers for General Municipal Election and Consolidated Charter Amendment Election of April 5. 1943: It was moved by R.P.Hoviell, seconded by W. H. Brazil that Election Officers serving :within the City of San Luis Obispo be compensated in the amount of $10.00 each for their service; that Election Officers serving in the special precincts outside the city of San Luis Obispo be allowed ?6.00 each for their service. Re: Rental for Precinct Polling Places for General Municipal Election and Consolidated Charter Amendment Election, April 5, 1943; It was moved by R.P.Howell, within seconded by ill. H. Brazil that rental for precinct polling places, the City be fixed at ?'8.00 each; that rental for precinct polling places outside the city be fixed at $6.00 each. On motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by W.H. Leland asking the Council to release F.D.Metzler and R.C. Davis as surety on his Merchandising Bond as he is closing his business to enter defense v;ork, and on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by Fd. H. Brazil, it was ordered the surety be released.
