Dalessi requesting a loading zone 295 at his place of business, corner Osos and ^.onterey Street was referred to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Joseph Leary. Re: Application filed by A. E. Shank and D. H. Boling for Dance Hall and Soft Drink licenses was held over as was also the application of Eric Jdickenden for Rooming House license. On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Lot 21 ^ " TM 200.00 The following communications were ordered received and filed on motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by R. P. Howell: otifications from the State Board of Equalization for license applications for the following: Edward F. Silva ( dba E1 Camino Liquor Store) 960Lonterey St. " Ret. Pkg. Off -Sale Bever and Wine" license " `dine Bottling or Packaging" TM " Ret. Off -Sale Dist. Spts." " transferred from R.C. Horton. Co=aunicat -on from Kenneth Beck, City Engineer, relative to sewer condition in the 1300 Block on Higuera St. and the cost of repairing same virus ordered filed. The following reports were ordered received and filed on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell: City Collector's report for the month of December 1943 Police Judge's ^ " " " ^ Police Dept. it " " 'he claims against the City for the month of December 1943 were ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the Layor. On motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell it was ordered that the City renei their membership in the League of California Cities for the year 1944 at a cost of $225.00; Joseph Leary voting "No ". The following matters were held over: H. Rosenkranz building permit Eric i'Jickenden - License for Lodging House The applications of A. E. Shank and D. H.
