The petition of Smee Plumbing for permit to out sidewalk on Monterey St. in front of Steve's Coffee Shop, and petition of ':'falter Roselip to install sewer line at 613 Grand Ave. was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works, with power to act, on motion of G. 1`l. Baker, seconded by F. L. Gist. The application of Southern Counties Gas Co. for permit to install 1" service for David J. Rouse at 1737 Santa Rosa St. was granted on motion of Clyde T. Commission Re: recommendations A petition was presented to the Cit Council by Harry Gillis of the Owl Taxi Co., together with a proposed Tari Ordinance for the City of San Luis Obispo. After discussion by the Board, the matter was referred to the Council as a whole for considerati on motion of.G. W. Baker, seconded by F. L. Gist. The applications of A. ',`J. Tiemann for sidewalks and ramps were granted on motion of F. L. Gist, seconded by Clyde T. O'Nan, and the Assistant City Engineer was instructed to go ahead with the city's part of the work, at the following locations: 150 ft. of sidewalk and ramp on the SE side of Monterey St. between Toro and Sta. Rosa Sts 100 ft. of sidewalk and ramp on-the 5111 side of Toro St. between Monterey & Higuera Sts. The Building Inspector, Seth Kinney, submitted sample forms to cover Sign Permits, Plumbing Permits and for opening Streets for Sewer Connections. The forms were approved by the Council, and the Commissioner of Supplies was instructed to order suf- ficient supply of each, on motion of F. L. Gist, seconded by G. W. Baker. On motion of G. l}l.
