Absent: None
The communication received from W. C. Wickenden offering to sell to the City
all of the real estate contained in Tract 34 in the City of San Luis Obispo for the sum
of 1..'315,000. with tares paid to June 30, 1946, and to furnish title insurance policy, the
offer made subject to acceptanca by the City on or before Aui,ust 20, 1946, was read to
the Council, and on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by G. W.Baker, the communication
was ordered received and filed.
Ordinance No. 271 (New Series) - An Ordinance providing for the acquisition
of certain real property by the City of San Luis Obispo was introduced and passed to
print on motion of Clyde T. O'Nan, seconded by G. V1. Baker upon the following roll call
vote:
Ayes: G. VI. Baker, F. L. Gist, R. P. Howell, Ralph C..Ken nedy, Clyde T. O'Nan
Noes: None
Absent: None
Permit #10 to erect sign filed by Joe L. Green , Neon Products was granted on
motion of Clyde T. O'Nan, seconded by F. L. Gist.

Communication from Scott Distributing Co. Re: parking problem at 700 Block
iacific St. was ordered received and.filed on motion of Clyde T. O'Nan; seconded by
G. VI. Baker.
Bid submitted by John Boriack Motor Co. offering to sell the City a Harley
Davidson Servi -car ( 3 wheeled motor) was declined by the Council., and the City Clerk
instructed to return his certified check in the amount of $79.03.
The bid of San Luis Cyclery in the amount of $795.57 for a 3 wheeled motor
was held over pending more information regarding delivery date.
