O'Nan , the Commis sioner of 497 Public .Yorks was authorized to prepare the city owned property in Block 19 for a parking lot with ramps to be installed on the Palm St. & Osos Street side. It was moved by G.W.Baker, seconded by F. L.Gist, that the City Clerk be in- structed to call for bids for the sale of City property in Lot or Subdivision "D" con- taining 9 acres more or less, that part which lies on the south and west side of San Luis Obispo Creek. The property is to be sold at public auction August 5, 1946 at 7:30 P. 1,.4. subject to existing lease. The communication was ordered received and filed on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by G. t ^J. Baker. Communication from the City Planning Commission Re: term of appointment of members whose term has expired; Same was held over. filed: The report of the City Treasurer for the month of June, 1946 was ordered Ordinance No. 271 (New Series); An Ordinance providing for the acquisition of certain real property-by the City of San Luis Obispo was finally passed on motion of Clyde T. O'Nan Noes: None Absent: None The following matters were again held over: Transfer of Mission Taxi Co. Bid of San Luis Cyclery for 3 wheel motorcycle Communication from J. E. McClure, Secy. of the City Planning Commission requesting the City Council to set aside $400 to.cover expenses of the Commission for the coming year. Contents were noted and ordered received and filed. On motion of F. L. Gist, seconded by R. P. Hoviell, the City Clerk was instructed to call for bids and specifications for repairs to the City Library,.outlining the scope of work. The Clerk was instructed by the Mayor to hold up the bid before advertising pending more details, etc. The Cit.r Clerk was authorized to draw warrant in the sum of $400 out of the Park, Playground and Recreation. Fund, payable to.the San Luis Obispo City Schools to reimburse the schools for the extended time on the Recreation program for a period of three weeks.
