Kennedy Absent:Kline Williams The meeting was.called to order by Mayor Kennedy - the meeting was then called off for lack of a quorum. City Hall, Wednesday,.February 26, 1947- 11:30 A.M. SPECIAL CALLED MEETING A Special Called Meeting of the City Council was held on February 26, 1947 Mayor Ralph C. Kennedy presiding. Present: G.W.Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P.Howell, Ralph C.Kennedy, Kline Williams Absent: None The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the adoption of two resolutions pertaining to the renting or leasing of two rooms and such additional space as necessary in the Recreation Center Building, and acting upon such other business as may properly come before said meeting. Communication from Park, Playground and Recreation Commission recommending to the City Council their approval for the rental of space in'the Recreation Center was ordered received.and filed on motion of G..W.Baker, seconded by F.L.Gist. Resolution No. 786 (New Series) - A Resolution providing for the execution of an "offer to rent" between the City of San Luis Obispo and the-Veterans Administration of.the United States of America was passed and.adopted on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by G. W. Baker upon the following roll-call vote: Ayes: G. W. Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, Kline Williams Noes: None Absent: None Resolution-,No. 787.(New Series) - A Resolution providing for the execution of "Proposal to Lease quarters" -between. the City of San. Luis Obispo and the Bureau of Internal Revenue was passed.and adopted on motion of.-F.L.Gist, seconded by R.P.Howell upon the-following roll1call vote: Ayes: G.W.Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P. Howell, Ralph C.Kennedy, Kline Williams Noes: None Absent: None . Resolution.No. 788 (New Series) - A Resolution establishing pedestrians cross walks on Higuera; Marsh and Monterey Streets was passed and adopted on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by G:-W.
