City.Hall,. Thursday.,. March 20th, 1947 - 4:30 P.M.
The City Council met in adjourned session: Mayor.Ralph C. Kennedy presiding.
Present: G.W. Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P. Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy
Absent: Kline Williams
On motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by F. L.Gist, the City Clerk was in-
structed to call for bids on Plans and Specifications for Relocation of a 12 inch
diameter city water main and construction of a cableway supporting structure across
San Luis Obispo Creek; bids to be opened at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on April 21st, 1947
upon the following roll call vote:
Ayes: G. W. Baker, F. L. Gist, R. P. Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy
Noes: None
Absent: Kline Williams
Resolution No. 797 (New Series) - A Resolution requesting acquisition
aid from the State of California was passed and adopted on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded
by F.L.Gist upon the following roll call vote:
Ayes: G. W. Baker, F.L.Gist, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy
Noes: None
Absent: Kline Williams
Resolution.No. 798 (New Series)-!-- A Resolutiod requesting Plan Aid from
the State of California was passed and adopted on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by
G. VJ. Baker upon the following vote:
Ayes: G.W.-Baker, F.L. Gist, R.P.Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy
Noes: None
Absent: Kline Williams
On motion of G.W; Baker, seconded by R. P. Howell; the meeting adjourned
until Monday, March 24th, 1947 at 6:45 P.M. upon the following roll call vote:

Application. filed by American Legion Auxiliary for a dance to be held at
the Recreation Center on April 19th was granted on motion of Kline Williams, seconded
by G. W. Baker.
The application filed by Dannie Jackson for license for carrying on-the
business of Music and Cigarette Vending *achines was granted on motion of Kline Williams,)
seconded by R.P.Howell.
Communication from Joe Green enclosing proposed contract for servicing
neon signs for the-City of San Luis Obispo was ordered received and filed on motion of
G.W.Baker, seconded by R.P.Howell.
