On motion of G.W.Baker, seconded by R.P'.Hovwell, the ILayor was authorized to
make arrangements for a special training course for all City Police Officers and appli-
cants for the police position's in the City. School programs to be conducted by the F. B.I.
Resolution No. 816 (New Series)- A Resolution authorizing the conveyance by the
City to Vera E.,Iiossi, Arthur E.IVIiossi and Emelia Miossi of certain real property, and
authorizing the acceptance from said persons of a deed for certain other real property,
as set forth in Grdinance No. 284 (New Series) was pa::sed and adopted on motion of G.W. 1
Baker, seconded by R.P.Howell upon the following roll call vote:
Ayes: G.W.Baker, Wm. 0. Hall,"R.P.Howell, Timothy I. O'Reilly
Noes: None
Absent: Kline Williams

!�Aeeting called to order by Mayor O'Reilly at this time for the discussion of th
enlargement of the Sewage Disposal Plant.
Ham N. -enks, Consulting Engineer, from Palo Alto, California, emphasized
the community needs as caused by industrial�wa :,te which must be counted in :.heir population
e ^uivalent. He also pointed out that several cities are successfully financing such con-
struction by means of a sewer rental fee.
It was moved by R.P.Hov:jell, seconded by v.V'm. 0. Hall, that iii. Jen_.s prepare
preliminary plans and estimate cost for the aewage Disposal Plant enlargement as required
by the :3t,:ate Department of Health submitting his proposition to the Council by letter.

Resolution No. 817 (New Series) Resolution requesting, financial aid from
the State of California for the proposed Miunicipal Sewage '::'orks Addition was passed and
adopted on motion of G.1,FT.Baker, seconded_ by '.Im.. O.Hall, upon the following roll call vote:
