Howell,.. seconded by Wm. 0. Hall, the City Clerk-was authorized to write to Mr. Jenks-accepting his offer'to'serve as consulting Sanitary Engineer on a preliminary study, design and estimate of cost of'Municipal Water Filtration Plant as per terms set forth in his letter addressed to the Mayor and City Council dated-August 23, 19470 Ordinance No. 287 (New Series) - An Ordinance levying a tax for the curren, fiscal year 1947 -1948 upon all taxable property-within-the City .of San Luis - Obispo, and fixing the rate of such tax -was finally passed on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by G.W. Baker upon-the-following -roll call-vote:­ - Ayes: G.W.Baker,'Wm. O.,Hall, R.P. Howell, Timothy I.
