Howell, Timothy I. O'Reilly, Kline Williams Absent: None The minutes of Jude 28th and June 30th, 1948 were approved. The applications for transfer of city licenses of the Richfield Service Station at 316 Higuera St. and the Texaco Service Station at 1185 Monterey St. were re- ferred to the City Engineer and Building Inspector for report on motion of Kline Williams. seconded by G. W. Baker. The application of the transfer of one -half interest of the Sister's Inn at 208 Higuera St. was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for in- vestigation and report on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by Kline Williams. The application for transfer of license of the Sur -Ur -Self Laundry at 183 Higuera St. from F.A. Farris to D.R. Lewetzow was granted on motion of G.W.Baker, seconded by Kline Williams. The following applications for Contractor's Licenses were received and on motion of Wm. 0. Hall, seconded by Kline [,Williams, the bonds were approved, sureties accepted and registration granted: Carl R. Osterman - Class "E" Contractor - ( Plaster ) T. J. Paradis - Class "D" if ) General Contractor ) The following reports were ordered received and filed on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by G.W.Baker: City Collector's Report for the month of June, 1948 Police Judge's " It 11 It If if Police Dept. " If it It " Claims against the City for the month of June, 1948 were ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the Mayor. On motion of R. P. Howell, seconded by G. W. Baker the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign Agreement with the State of California ( Division of Highways) covering Expenditure of Gas Tax Allocation for Major City Streets for the 1949 fiscal year Resolution No. 853 (New Series)_ Resolution of the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo adopting Budget and approving memorandum of Agreement for Expenditure of Gas Tax Allocation for Major City Streets was passed and adopted on motion of G. W. Baker, seconded by R. P. Howell upon the following vote: Ayes: G. W. Baker, Wm. 0. Hall, R.P. Howell, Timothy I. O'Reilly, Kline Williams Noes: None Absent: None Communication from the Housing Authority Re: grading and oiling of streets and drying yards at Santa Rosa Park was referred to the City Clerk for reply, work to start in the near future ( a few weeks ) On motion of Wm. 0.
