Commissioner of Public Health and Safety was authorized to hire two men for Police Vacation Relief Period, all vacations to run consecutively. On motion of Wm. 0. Hall, seconded by G.W.Baker, the City Engineer was authorized to attend meeting with U.S.R.B. in Santa Barbara in the near future. It wasmoved by G.W. Baker, seconded by R.P.Howell, that Wm. Payton be granted 30 day vacation leave with pay, having an unused vacation period fronr last year. Resolution No. $$0 (New Series) - A Resolution accepting a Deed from C.A. Zaino and May R. Maino for a Sewer Easement was passed and adopted on motion of Wm. 0. Hall, seconded by R.P.Howell upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: G.W.Baker, Wm. 0. Hall, R.P.Howell, Timothy I. O'Reilly, Kline Williams foes: None Absent: None The following matters were held over: Transfer of License of Veterans Cab, 960 Higuera St. from Jesse Munoz to Harry & Peter E. Gillis. O'Reilly, Kline Williams Absent: None Ordinance No. 309 (New Series) - An Ordinance of the City of-San Luis Obispo, Fixing rates to be charged for water furnished by said City to consumers within and consumers outside the corporate limits of said city;- etc. etc. was finally passed on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by G.W.Baker upon the following roll call vote: Ayes: G.W.Baker, Wm.O.Hall, R.P.Howell, Timothy I. O'Reilly, Kline Williams Noes: None Absent: None It was moved by G.W. Baker, seconded by R. P. Howell that the bid for 2160 lineal 'ft. of 6" Class 150 cast iron pipe be awarded to the U.,% Pipe and Foundry Co. at $1.73 per ft. F.O.B. the City yards. Total Amount of Bid. $3736.80 plus.State Sales Tax: On motion of R.P.Howell; seconded by G.W.Baker, the Mayor was authorized.to sign Division of Highways Service Agreement No. 5902 -E covering the cost of furnishing water to State owned property. The City Attorney was instructed to prepare and present Agreement covering the enforcement of Public Health Provision in City Ordinances, to be approved and signed by the City Council and submitted to the Board of Supervisors for their signature, on motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by G.W.Baker. 1 1 1 1 1
