The Citl,r Council met in adjourned session; Mayor Timothy I. O'Reilly presiding.

This being the time set as pQr advertised Notice for receiving bids for the con
struction of the nerr Cit,r Administration Building, the following bids were received:-
1 - Madonna Construction Co. of San Luis Obispo in amount 284,189.00
2 - Mai.no Construction Co. " ,r ,r n ,r n 2829914.00
? - ')gum Construction .Co. of Inalel,.rood 310,500-00
4 - Ochs &. Son of San Luis Obispo " " 272,100.00
After reviPI•r cf the Bids it was moved by D. M. Carpenter, seconded by Frank V.Woods
they he referred to the Commissioner of Public Works and the City.Enginee-r for study and
to report to the Council at 8:30 A.M. Thursday, Sept. 28th, 1950•
Com"uni.cation from Henry Janssen, 589 Hipvera St. petitioning the Coundl for a
building permit to repair building damaFPd by automobile, the Building Inspector having
refused nermit for reDalrs. The communication was ordered received add filed.
The City Attorney was instructed to noti_fir present tennants occupying the
city nronerty in Black 15 to vacate within 30 days.
It runs moved bzr D.M.Carnenter, seconded b.r Kline Williams that the City
Clerk's S?larir he established at $4800 per year and the $30.00 per month car allowance
previously allowed be discontinued as of Oct. 1, 1950, and he be reimbursed for gasoline
not to exceed 25 gallons per month.
On motion of D.M.Carpenter, seconded by Frank V. Woods the meeting adjourned
