The regular meeting of the City Coi:ncil was not held for lack of a quorum.
City Hall, Recreation Center, Monday, Oct. 22, 1951 - 7:30 P.M.
SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
The City Council met in Special Session for the purpose of advertising
for bids on,
(1) Pavina of Foothill Blvd. from S.P. R.R. to Santa Rosa St.
(2) Running new water line on Johnson Ave. from Bishop Street to Laurel Lane and discuss
matters relating to "141ater" rates as proposed by the San Luis Obispo County
Flood Control
Present: D.M.Carpenter, Paul 11. Davis, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I. O'Reilly, Frank V. -flood
Absent: None
On motion of D.M.Carpenter, seconded by Frank V. +Dods, the City.Clerk was
instructed to call for bids for the paving of Foothill Blvd. and new water line on
Johnson Ave. Bids to be received up to 7:30 o'clock P.M., November 5, 1951.
Mayor O'Reilly appointed thefollowing Committee to meet with the Board of
Supervisors in "Executive Meeting" and to review the minutes of the Board meeting, on
the Pronosed one -third increase on water from the Salinas Dam:

Homer Hamlin, City Engineer
Timothy I. O'Reilly, Mayor
On motion of Frank Woods, seconded by Timothy I.O'Reilly, the meeting
adjourned upon the following roll call vote:
