City Building Inspector Copy of Resolution of the San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors granting aid to the City of San Luis Obispo for the opening of new street ( contributing $1440.00) The City Clerk was instructed to call for sealed bids for approximate 200 street signs -- bids to be received up to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 1952• Communication from 0. M. Davis Re: condition of alley in the Arlington Addition was eferred to the Commissioner of Public Works, with power to act, on motion of Frank . Woods, .Me Orders were approved and authorized: Change Order No. 1 - Valley Paving Co. - Santa Rosa St. Imp. ( Minus) $ 51.94 Change Order No. 2 - " " " TM " Contract ( plus ) 61.95 ' Claim inthe amount of $34.$6 filed by the Santa Rosa Market for repairs to water line caused by City Crew was approved on motion of D.M.Carpenter, seconded by Frank V.Woods. Claim filed by Frieda Hirsch at 1234 George St. inthe amount of $6.00 for damage caused by sewer main was approved and payment authorized on motion of Paul W.Davis, seconde by D. M. Carpenter. ' The Council granted permission to Seth Kinney, City Building Inspector, to do inspection for the Veterans Administration oh Local Home Construction, if it does not interfere with his present duties. 6:35 P.M. - Mayor O'Reilly asked to be excused from the meeting at this time. On motion of Frank V.Woods, seconded,by Fred Lucksinger,- office space in the newCity Hall was assigned to, 1 - The City Police Judge 2 - Parking Meter Department By common consent of the Council, Ed Wells was appointed part time Janitor at a salary of $100 per month as of Feb. 26, 1952.
