The City Clerk was instructed to publish Notice of Hearing by City Council of
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF LAND USE PLAN ( Zoning Ordinance) - Notice to be held July 21st,
1952 at 7:30 P.M.
There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time it was moved
by D.M.Carpenter, seconded by Timothy I.O'Reilly that the meeting adjourn to July 14, 1952
at 7:30 P.M. upon the following roll call vote:

The City Council met in adjourned session; Mayor Timothy I.O'Reilly presiding.
Present: D.M.C,rpenter, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I.O'Reilly
Absent: Paul W.Davis, Frank V.Woods
The application of Sponseller & Sons for registration as Class "E" , Roofing
Contractor together with bond written_ by the Pacific Indemnity Co. of Los Angeles in the
amount of $500 as surety, was presented to the Council and on motion of D.M.Cgrpenter,
seconded by Fred Lucksinger, the bond was approved, surety accepted and licenseordered
issued.
The application of the Purple Heart, Local chapter, for dance at the Veterans
Memorial. Bldg. on Au.?ust 15, 1952 was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety.
The following matters were ordered received and filed.
Report of the City Collector for the month of June, 1952
Communication from Office of Civil Defense Re: "Operation Skywatch"
Communication from the State Retirement System Re: crossing guards eligibility
for membership was referred to Mr. Miller for reply.
Communication from Mr. Theo. C.Maino Re: Refunds on water lines in Tract No. 64
was referred to the Council as a whole.
Communication fromJames and Anita Parsley complaining about sanitation and health
condition was referred tothe Health Dept. for investigation on motion of D.M.Carpenter,
seconded by Fred Lucksinger.
Communication from Milton Nadelle, 2775 Tenbrook St. filing claim for damages im
the amount of $-"219.26 caused by city burning crew was referred to the Insurance Co. on
motion of Fred Lucksinger, seconded by Timothy I. O'Reilly.
Ordinance No. 367 (New Series) - AnOrdinance providing for sale of real property
by the City of San Luis Obispo to Wm. T. Wall was passed to print on motion of D.M.
Carpenter, seconded by Fred Lucksinger upon the following roll call vote:
