City Hall, Friday, May 15, 1953 - 8 o'clock A.M.
The City Council met in adjourned session; Mayor Timothy I. O'Reilly presiding.
Present: Paul b•;.Davis, D.M.Carpenter, Fred Lucksinger, Timothy I. O'Reilly
Absent: None
On motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Timothy I. O'Reilly, and by common consez
of the Council, the Council recessed at this time, in order that the Incoming Council may
take their seats.
Mayor Fred Lucksinger called for roll call:
Present: Paul W.Davis, Richard E.Gragg, Kenneth W.Jones, Fred H.Lucksinger
Absent: None
The members elected having previously taken the Oath of Office, their Official
Bonds were presented.
The Official Bond of the Mayor, Fred H.Lucksinger, was presented and approved by the
Council.
The following bonds were presented and approved by the Mayor:

On motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Kenneth Jones, Mr. Nels Beck was nominated to
fill the vacancy on the Council left vacant by the election of Fred H.Lucksinger to mayor,
upon the following roll call vote:

Noes: None
The Council new proceeded to organize as a new Council as of May 15th, 1953•
Mayor Fred Lucksinger appointed the following:
For Commissioner of Public Works - Paul W.Davis
For it " Public Health &, Safety - Nels Beck
For " " Finance Richard E.Gragg
For " " Supplies Kenneth W.Jones
For Vice -Pres. of the Council, Paul W.Davis
On motion of Paul W-Davis, seconded by Kenneth W. Jones it was moved that the appoint-
ments be approved upon the following roll call vote:
Ayes: Paul W.Davis, Richard E.Gragg, Kenneth W.Jones, Fred H.Lucksinger
Noes: None
Absent: Nels Beck
Mayor Fred H.Lucksinger made the following appointments and the appointed officers be
retained for the office they now hold:

in Sectinn 26, Article V. On motion of Paul W.Davis, seconded by Kenneth W.Jones the
appointments were approved on the following roll call vote:
