Present: Nels Beck, Paul W.Davis, Richard E. Gragg, Kenneth W, Jones, Fred H Lucksingr Absent: None Communication from the " Citizens Off - Street Parking Committee" was read, recom- mending that the city; investigate the possibility of purchasing the. Pezzoni property on chorro Street for a parking lot. After discussion by the Council, and by common. consent of the Council, Richard Miller, Executive Secy. to the Council, was instructed to have an appraisal made of the Pezzoni property. The Citizens Committee on Off- Street Parking, also recommended that time limit on parking be enforced ih the parking meter zones, as some people park their car for 8 hours at one parking meter and feed nickels all day. Mayor Lucksinger appointed a committee con - sisting of Nels Beck, Kenneth W.Jones, Peter Andre to investigate the enforcement of parking limit inthe metered zones. Mayor Lucksinger appointed City Clerk J.H.Fitzpatrick, and Richard Miller to investigate and recommend to the Council, Re: parking lot in Block 99. The Pacific Gas and Electric Co. proposed that the City of San Luis Obispo trade 9 acres of land at the city Sewer Farm for a new service facility for P. G & E., and P.G. & E. in return would give the city the present corporation yard at Pacific and Pismo Streets, with the city paying the difference between the appraised value of thi P.G.& E. property and the city owned property. After discussion by the Council, Mayor Lucksinger appointed Nels Beck and Paul W.Davis to study this proposal by the P. G & E. and to bring back a recommendation as to what the city's policy should be on this proposal. On motion of. Paul W.Davis, seconded by Nels Beck,the meeting adjourned..
