Mr.Richard Miller, :executive Secy.. was instructed to investigate the number, type and cost of proper signs in order to comply with "Off- Street Parking Committee" re- -Iommendation No. 2. Regarding request of "Off- Street Parking Committee" for $500 for surveys, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare Resolution transferring $500 from "Off- Street Parking Committee ". Mayor Lucksinger thanked Mr. Carpenter and Mr.. Shaw for a fine report on the activities of the "Off- Street Parking Committee ". Mr.Talbo� representative of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers requested that some immediate action be taken regarding this matter of reconstruction of the Johnson Ave. Underpass. He stated that this has been going ontoo long now, and that the City should demand a Hearing before the Public Utilities Commission to force the Railroad Company's hand. H. C. Wheeler-, representative of the Brotherood of Railroad Trainmen stated that his 1 group was backing the Locomotive engineers on getting this unsafe condition corrected as soon as possible. Mr. R.E.Cripe , resident of Johnson Ave. area requested that the Underpass be corrected as soon as possible. Mr. R.J.Phillips , protested the sign at the corner of Osos and Niarsh Street (Heydenfeldt) Mrs. Cloud , representing Mr. Lacterman, offered his file on the Osos Street crossing 1 1 1 1 1 study made by the Service Clubs of San Luis - Obispo.
