At the request of Keith Fraser, representing Lindero Investment Company in a personal appearance, the City Council considered Tract No. 208 final subdivision map as previously approved by the City Planning Commission. After considerable discussion involving a question of whether or not the tract as approved represented good City planning, the City Council decided to hold up approval pending a study meeting with the City Planning Commission on Tuesday evening, August 23, 1960. In connection with his presentation, Mr. Flagg filed 3 checks as follows: $ 5,400.00 - subdivision inspection fee deposit. $ 3,924.17 - to purchase pro -rata capacity in Laurel Lane water system. $ 19,948.25 - to pay sewer assessments in cash. He also presented a subdivision bond, a preliminary subdivision report cam. from the Title Insurance & Trust Company, and copies of the subdivision agreement. 'rJ 28. At this time the City Council withdrew to hold a private discussion involving a matter of condemnation and forthcoming court action (Pezzoni property). On motion of Kenneth W. Jones, seconded by Gerald W. Shipsey, the meeting adjourned until Tuesday, August 23, 1960 at 5:30 P.-M. at the MDtel Inn, in memory of the late Senator A. A. Erhart.- City Hall flags were also ordered flown at half mast until the funeral on Wednesday in memory of Senator Erhart who had also served for many years as County Supervisor. The City Clerk was instructed to write a letter to his widow conveying the essence of this action by the City Council. 1 ---- -- -- -- -- Approved this 6th day of September, 1960. ROLL CALL: Present - Kenneth W. Jones, Gerald W. Shipsey, J. Barry Smith, ' Fred M. Waters. Absent - Donald Q. Miller CITY STAFF PRESENT: Planning Director Abraham, City Attorney Houser, Administrative Officer Miller, City Engineer Romero, Planning Consultant Wise. The City Council discussed the proposed final map of Tract No. 208, Southwood Homes Unit #2.
