ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA

1. The City Council considered the request of the Port San Luis Harbor District
for Council support of SB 867. This act would authorize the State Legislature
to approve funds for construction of non - revenue producing navigational features
such as break waters, main channel and turning basins for up to 50% of the cost
in conjunction with the Federal Government. Funds to be used for the grants
would be taxes accrued form the sale of fuel for boats.
On motion of Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Graham, the following
resolution was introduced. RESOLUTION NO. 2035, a resolution urging the Calif-
ornia Legislature to support Senate Bill 867 to provide grants for construction
of non - revenue producing navigational facilities.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Donald Q. Miller, Myron Graham, Emmons Blake,
Kenneth E. Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: Arthur F. Spring
2. The City Council continued their deliberations for establishing priorities
of projects to be included in the Capital Improvement Plan as follows:
Item 4. Sinsheimer Baseball Park
(a) Parking Lot, 226 spaces
Item 5.. (E -3) Sewer line westerly of Ramona
Item 6. (E -5) Widen east side of Santa Rosa from Monterey to Higuera
Item 7. (E) Johnson Avenue widening (Mugler)
Item 8. (E -6) Widen west side of Santa Rosa, Peach to Walnut
Item 9. (E -33) Start reserve fund for sewer plant improvements.
Item 10. (E -1) Start reserve fund for Foothill Blvd. widening (College Square)
Item 11. (W -1) Start reserve fund for rehabilitation of Filtration Plant #1
Item 12. (R -8) Phase No. 1 - Tree Planting Program (Santa Rosa, Marsh,
Olive and Monterey Streets)
Item 13. (R -5) Further development of Laguna Lake tree planting.
Item 14.. (R -3) Convert Mitchell Park Building to Senior Citizen Facility

On motion of Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Miller, the meeting
adjourned. Motion carried.
