ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA
May 8, 1972 _ 7:30 P. M.

Emmons Blake, John C. Brown, Myron Graham,
T. Keith Gurnee, Kenneth E. Schwartz
Present: J. H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R. D. Miller,
Administrative Officer; A. J. Shaw, City Attorney;
E. L. Rodgers, Police Chief.
1.. The City Council held an impasse meeting at the request of the
Police Officers' Association, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 13 of Resolution No. 2141 (1971 Series).

The Mayor Called a recess at 9:40 P. M.
The Council reconvened at 9:50 P. M. w,i•th all Councilmen present.
2. Discussion of the Council work program was continued.
3. Discussion of Legislative Bulletins from the League of California
Cities was continued.
4. The City Council reviewed the 1972/73 Capital Improvement Program,
categories 2, 3 & 4 and urged the completion of the 1970/71 and 1971/72
items in Category Two.
The Council authorized the addition of funds in the reserves for Category
Three.
The Council authorized the staff to proceed with C.I.P. items No. 1 thru
19 in Category Four.
5. On motion of Councilman Blake, seconded by Councilman Gurnee, the
meeting was adjourned. Motion carried. .
