ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA
June 2, 1972 - 12:10 P. M.

Roll Call
Present: Emmons Blake, John C. Brown, Myron Graham,
T. Keith Gurnee, Kenneth E. Schwartz
City Staff
Present: J. H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R. D. Miller,
n Administrative Officer.
1. On motion of Councilman Blake, seconded by Councilman Graham,
the following resolution was introduced. RESOLUTION NO. 2320, a reso-
lution reducing various equipment replacement budget items to reflect
unspent portions thereof and making inter -fund transfers from various
funds to the equipment replacement fund.
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Emmons Blake, John C. Brown, Myron Graham,
T. Keith Gurnee, Kenneth E. Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
2. On motion of Councilman Blake, seconded by Councilman Graham,
the following resolution was introduced, RESOLUTION NO..2321, a reso-
lution increasing the 1972/72 Budget.
Passed and'adopted -on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Emmons Blake, John C. Brown, Myron Graham,
T. Keith Gurnee, Kenneth E. Schwartz
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
3. Request of Garden Ailey Merchants to use the first row of
parking spaces in Parking Lot No. 2, to hold their annual "Garden Alley
Sale" as the alley,.is torn up due to undergrounding, was approved on
motion of Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Brown. Motion was
carried.
4. The,.City Council continued their study of the 1972/73 Budget as
prepared by the Administrative Officer, starting with page 194 through
page 270 inclusive
5. The City Council adjourned to executive session.
6. On motion of Councilman Blake, seconded by Councilman Brown, the
meeting adjourned to 4:00 P. M.,TFrlday, June 2,.1972. Motion carried.

Also Present Fred Bold, Special Water Counsel
Robert Edmundson, Special Water Engineer
1.: The City Council met with Mr. Fred Bold, Special Water Counsel,
and Robert Edmundson, Special Water Engineer, to discuss the affect on
the City of San LGIiS Obispo of the State Water Resources Control Board
order granting extension of time on certain permits, imposing and
clarifying permit terms and revoking certain permits to appropriate
water. All dealing with the Salinas Dam and Reservoir.
2. On motion of Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Brown,
the meeting adjourned at 5:30 P. M. Motion carried.
