SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1976 - 7:30 P.M.
HEARING ROOM, CITY HALL
PRESENT: Councilmen Graham, Norris, Petterson and Mayor Schwartz
ABSENT: Councilman Gurnee
City Staff
PRESENT: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R.D. Miller, Administrative
Officer; Terry Sanville, Planning Associate; Rob Strong,
Director of Community Development
1. The City Council continued their study and discussion on the
recommendation of the Planning Commission to adopt the Updated General
2. On motion of Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Petterson,
the special called meeting was adjourned to 7:30 p.m., November 30, 1976
for a joint meeting with the Planning Commission to continue discussion of
the General Plan Update.

Plan, including such areas as:
A.
Growth Management Objectives;
B.
Annexations and Urban Development within the urban reserve;
C.
Agricultural and open space zoning;
D.
Priorities for urban services:
1. Correction to utility deficiencies within the City;
2. Urban service to infill, intensification.and incorporated expansion
areas within the City;
3. Urban service system for incorporated expansion areas within the
urban reserve;
4. Urban service system necessary to serve remaining unincorporated
E.
portions of urban reserve;
Commercial and industrial land use objectives;
'
F.
Neighborhood convenience commercial land use policies;
G.
Professional office land use policies; and
H.
Comparative commercial land use policies.
2. On motion of Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Petterson,
the special called meeting was adjourned to 7:30 p.m., November 30, 1976
for a joint meeting with the Planning Commission to continue discussion of
the General Plan Update.
