SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2012 - 6:00 P.M.

ROLL CALL:
Council Members
Present: Council Members John Ashbaugh, Andrew Carter and Kathy Smith, Vice
Mayor Dan Carpenter, and Mayor Jan Marx
City Staff
Present: Katie Lichtig, City Manager, Christine Dietrick, City Attorney, Michael
Codron, Assistant City Manager, and Maeve Kennedy Grimes, City Clerk,
were present at Roll Call. Other staff members presented reports or
responded to questions as indicated in the minutes.
CLOSED SESSION REPORT
ACTION: City Attorney Dietrick reported there was no public comment or reportable
action on the Closed Session matter held on September 24th and September 25th. It
was agreed to adjourn the Closed Session at 5:35pm September 25th and continue
discussions following the adjournment of the evening meeting.

Mayor Marx announced that Item C2 was previously noticed as having been removed
from the Consent Agenda due to a legal notice publication error and will appear on the
