CITY BALL Pledge Roll Call ( PRESENT: Myron Graham, T.Keith Gurnee, Jesse Norris, Steven Petterson, and Mayor Kenneth E. Schwartz City Staff ABSENT: None PRESENT: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk /Administrative Officer; R. Muravez, Director of Finance.; R. Strong, Director of Community Development;... W. Peterson, City Engineer; W. Flory, Director of Parks & Recreation 1. J.H.-Fitzpatrick, City Clerk/Administrative-'Officer, reported that the Mission-Pontiac Company agreed to deliver two (2) additional Police patrol cars, as per specifications.dated 1/7/76 at the same price as Item ail of Purchase Order # 14514 or $ 4,158.12 plus tax.' 2. R. Muravez, Director of Finance, submitted for council consideration the following resolutions to implement the recommendations for improving the accounting systems. A. On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded-by Councilman Gurnee, the following resolution was introduced:. Resolution No. 3031--(1976 Series), a resolution of the.Council.of.the City of San Luis Obispo-adopting a fiscal policy governing estimated revenues, appropriations and the unappropriated balance for each fund established within the -chart of accounts of the City. Passed and adopted ontthe following.roll.call vote: AYES: Councilmen Graham; Gurnee, Norris, Petterson and - Mayor Schwartz ' ` NOES: None .4ABSM:: ' None B. On motion of Mayor Schwartz, seconded.'.by.Councilman Norris, the following resolution was introduced: .Resolution No. 3032 (1976 Series), a resolution of the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo transferring Capital Outlay Reserve balances to the unappropriated fund balance of the Capital Outlay Fund. Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Norris, Graham and Mayor Schwartz NOES: Councilmen Gurnee and Petterson ABSENT: None C. On motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded by Mayor Schwartz, the following resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3033 (191.6 Series), • resolution of the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo authorizing • consolidation of funds and -the transfer of fund balances. On motion of Mayor Schwartz, seconded by Councilman Petterson, the ' following resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3034'(1976 Series) • resolution of the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo establishing • consolidated capital improvements fund. On motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded by.Councilman.Petterson; the following resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3035 (1976 Series) a resolution of the Council of.the City of San Luis Obispo creating a library building reserve account within the library,fund and transferring funds thereto. Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Graham, Gurnee, Norris, Petterson and Mayor Schwartz NOES: None ' ABSENT: None F. On motion-of Councilman Petterson, seconded-by Councilman. Gurnee, the following resolution was introduced: Resolution No. 3036 (1976 Series) a resolution. of the Council of the City of-San- -Luis. Obispo creating a parks in =lieu reserve account within the park and recreation fund and transferring funds thereto. Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Graham,.Gurnee, Norris, Petterson and Mayor Schwartz. NOES:. None ABSENT: None 2. Cit9y Clerk /Administrative Officer Fitzpatrick was authorized to advertise for a full time attorney for the City with salary open, and also authorized to solicit proposals from local firms to furnish legal services to the City on an interim basis. 3: On motion of Councilman Gurnee, seconded by Councilman Petterson, the meeting adjourned to 12:10 p.m. Friday, April 9, 1976, motion carried.
