The City Council then discussed with the Promotional Coordinating Committee
members present, the overall philosophy of using public taxpayers to adver-
tise and promote the City of San Luis Obispo.
The Promotional Coordinating Committee Budget -was continued for further
consideration with the full budget.
3. The City Council approved the Memorandum of Understanding with
the Police Officers' Association.and.the General.Employees'.Association
for the fiscal.year 1976/77, on motion.of Councilman-Gurnee, seconded by
Councilman Petterson. All ayes, Councilman.Graham absent.
4. The City Council adjourned.t6_12:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, .

1. City Council continued the review of the proposed 1976/77 City
Budget,starting with-page 4 thru page 30 plus the equipment replacement
budget.
The City Council,..again reviewed the proposed budget of-the Promotional
Coordinating Committee,.and established as Council policy the proposal
of the Promotional .Coordinating_Committee.of_ limiting their spending to
$80,000_maximum,.with the.balance of the.funds, derived from the
approved formula, to go into a facility reserve.

On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Mayor Schwartz, the hourly
rate for Youth Corps employeesi,be_ increased to $2.30 /hour: Motion carried.
