COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL Roll Call PRESENT: Councilmen Dunin, Gurnee, Jorgensen, Petterson and Mayor Schwartz ABSENT: None City Staff PRESENT: J.H. Fitzpatrick, City Clerk; R.D. Miller, Administrative Officer; Terry Sanville 1. Reports were presented on the following standing Council Subcommittees: Area Planning Council Councilman Jorgensen C.C.C.J.C. Councilman Petterson Solid Waste Committee Councilman Dunin Water Advisory Board Mayor Schwartz Whale Rock Commission Mayor Schwartz Zone 9 Advisory Committee Councilman Gurnee 2. City Council continued their consideration of their 1977/78 work program. The City Council reviewed the list of items continued for study and discussion over the past year'(40 items):and took the following action on each item: 1. No Smoking Ordinance 2. Closing of Broad & Monterey Sts. 3. Property Improvement Program 4. Revised Swimming Pool & Dock Ordinance 5. Public Safety Services 6. Peter Canvel request for relief of parking requirements at Pacific & Osos Sts. 7. Acquisition of San Luis Peak 8. Acquisition of Bishop Peak 9. Personnel Policies & Procedures 10. Water Supply 11. Water Treatment 12. Permit /Information Center 13. County Water Conservation Ordinance - Continued being coordinated by Building Division 3. On motion of Councilman Jorgensen, seconded by Councilman Dunin, the meeting adjourned at 10:05 p.m. to 12:10 p.m., Monday, May 16, 1977. Motion carried. The City Council continued the discussion of their work study program for 1977/78, starting with Growth Management Strategy, including such factors as City provided resources of water, sewer, police, fire, recreation and housing supply, unimproved lots, etc. D r�
