carried, all ayes.
The matter was also referred to Jim Stockton, Director of Parks and Recreation
and Henry Engen, Community Development Director for input and prioritizing the
various projects under C.I.P. Item F.
C.I.P. #G - Sewer system deficiencies in the collection system and treatment
plant were approved.
C.I.P. #H - Capital contingency reserve was approved.
On motion of Councilman Settle, seconded by Mayor Schwartz, that the Community
Development Director, Henry Engen, be requested to work with the County Library
Director to cooperate on the location of a new City- County Library site in
downtown San Luis Obispo. Motion carried, all ayes.
The City Council then reviewed that portion of the Capital Improvement Program
for 1978 -1979 dealing with Streets (gas tax, select road and S.B. 325 funds);
C.I.P. Nos. 813, 814, 815, 816, Item Nos. C, D, E & F and balanced street
deficiencies. Priority list approved as presented at this time.
On motion of Councilman Petterson, seconded by Councilman Jorgense n, that the
City Council change the priority of No. 814 to 816 and put C.I.P. #816 in place
of 814. Motion carried with Councilmen Dunin and Settle voting no.
On motion of Councilman Settle, seconded by Mayor Schwartz, that the city
install a streettype intersection entrance at the - present entrance to Madonna
Road Plaza. Motion carried, all ayes.
On motion of Councilman Jorgensen, seconded by Councilman Settle, that the
council establish the street priorities as follows:
1 - No.

2 - No.

3 - No.

4 - No.

Motion carried, all ayes.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the Mayor
adjourned the meeting at 2:10 P.M.
