Present: Leland Walton, City Administrative Officer; J.H. Fitzpatrick,

Wayne Peterson, City Engineer; Henry Engen, Community De-
velopement Director; Richard Minor, Fire Chief; Roger Newnan,
Police Chief; Jim Stockton,Director of Parks and Recreation;
Joyce Levin, Recreation Supervisor
1. Council continued their review of the-proposed 1979 - 1980 City
Budget, star.ting with Page 4 -1, Community Development Department.'
A. Planning Division
B. Building Division
C. Engineer Division
On motion of Councilman-Jorgensen ;..seconded by Councilman Alan-Bond, that
the City Council.approve the Planning.-Division Budget with the addition of
$4,000. for part -time service and continuation.df full -time staff writer
assigned to the City Administrative Officer's Department, to be assigned
projects by other departments.
Motion carried on the following roll call�`vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Billig; Bond, Jorgensen and Mayor Cooper
NOES: Councilmember Dunin.(Corrected by action 7/9/79)
ABSENT: None
City Council continued-their review of Community DevelopmentDepartment
Budget and approved the budgets for the.Building Regulation Division and
the Engineering Division.
The City Council then proceeded to review the budget request of the Public
Services Department:
1) Government Building.Division.
2), Public Services Administration
3) Streets and Sidewalks
4) Street Painting
5) Traffic Signals and Street Lighting-..-.
1:55 p.m., Councilman.Alan.Bond_ left the meeting.
6) Shop and City Yard
2. There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Lynn
Cooper adjourned.the meeting at 2:05 p.m., to 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 1979.
