Assistant; Rudy Muravez, Finance Director
1. Lee Walton, Administrative Officer, presented for the Council's
information, the 1980 -1981 City Budget. He gave a brief overview of the
budget highlighting personnel and program requirements.'
Rudy Muravez, Finance Director, reviewed the budget format for the Council's
information and reviewed in detail the,: portions of the budget showing the
comparative analysis of the anticipated revenue and expenditures for the
fiscal year 1980 -1981. He stated revenues estimated for 1980 -1981 were
$13,288,747.00 and estimated expenditures were $14,421,656.00.
The City Council discussed with .staff Pages 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12,
' Revenues, Expenditures and the estimated starting and ending balances for
1980 -1981.
The City Council directed the staff to prepare necessary legislation to
allocate interest received for all funds deposited in reserves and deposits.
There being no further business to come before-the Council, Mayor Cooper
Adjourned the meeting at 2:00 p.m. to 12:10 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 1980.
