6:40 p.m. City Council reconvened, Councilwoman Dovey absent.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor ,
Billig adjourned the meeting.

A -1 After brief discussion-on motion of Councilman Griffin,, seconded-by
Councilman Dunin, the following resolution was introduced: Resolution No.
5102 (1983 series), a resolution of the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo expressing opposition to language entitled "Compromise between
National League of Cities and National Cable Television Association on
Federal Cable Legislation ".
Passed and adopted on the following roll call vote:
AYES:, Councilmembers Griffin, Dunin, Settle and Mayor Billig
NOES:- None
ABSENT: Councilwoman Dovey
Councilman Griffin stated that an emergency legislation meeting has been
called in E1 Segundo and suggested that the Administrative Officer send a
staff member to attend. Council agreed upon general consensus that a staff
member be sent to represent the city.
