Dave Romero explained that this would help to hinder bottle necks in San Luis Creek and double its present capacity. The tight spots would have an increased capacity from a 13 to 25 -year storm capacity. Don Smith questioned the liability factor to the City by starting upstream rather than from the bottom. Richard Schmidt was concerned about the removal of dirt and where it would be stored. Dave Romero explained that this would be a requirement of the contractor who would remove the dirt. 12:40 p.m. City Council adjourned to a field trip at San Luis Creek to inspect the four projects.
