C.I. Councilwoman Rappa requested that the Council agendize the recent buy -out by Payless of the Von's
supermarket She was particularly concerned with the corner at Marsh and Johnson Avenue and in looking
at ways to encourage an additional supermarket to go in, either combined with Payless or in some other fashion.
Upon general consensus, this item was continued to the following night's meeting.
9:15 a.m. There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Dunin adjourned the
meeting.

P.C.1. Kathy Cleeves, 67- Higuera, spoke of her concerns about loss of business and lack of notification as a
result of a City construction project at the intersection of Higuera and Nipomo Streets.
P.C2. Brad Goans, P.O. Box 13035, San Luis Obispo, reported on the International War Crimes Tribunal held
on September 14, 1991.
