Council Member Brown was recused because his business is in the vicinity of the
project site.

Mayor Romero announced the following Closed Session topic, following which Council
adjourned to a Closed Session:
CONFERENCE REGARDING PROPERTY NEGOTIATIONS
Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.8
Property: 736 Marsh, APN 002 - 424 -022 (Parking Lot # 2)
Negotiating Parties:
City of San Luis Obispo: Ken Hampian, Shelly Stanwyck,
Jonathan Lowell
Landowner: Westpac Development Inc.
Negotiations: Potential Terms of Sale
Following the Closed Session, City Attorney Lowell reported that Council provided staff
with direction regarding the pending property negotiations. Once negotiations are
concluded between staff and the landowner, a Memorandum of Understanding will be
presented to the Council for its consideration and action in public session.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Romero adjourned
the meeting at 1:07 p.m. to a regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in the
Council Chamber, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obi //spo, commencing t 6:45 p.m..
