SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE PERSONNEL BOARD (PB)
RECOMMENDATION
In accordance with the recommendations of the Council Subcommittee, appoint Heidi Hermon to
the Personnel Board, for a term to expire on March 31, 2017.
DISCUSSION
Personnel Board Committee (Subcommittee Members Carpenter and Christianson)
Due to the resignation of Marcia Nelson, effective January 1, 2015, there was an unscheduled
vacancy on the Personnel Board. Ms. Nelson’s term would have expired March 31, 2017.
The Council Liaison Subcommittee recommends appointment of Heidi Hermon to the Personnel
Board, effective July 21, 2015, to a term expiring on March 31, 2017. The City Clerk’s Office
will continue to recruit for the one remaining vacancy on the Personnel Board.
AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW IN THE COUNCIL OFFICE
Hard copies of the PB application have been provided to the City Council and are available for
public review in the City Clerk's office.
