ORDINANCE NO. 1011 (1984 Series)
AN ORDINANCE OF ^THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO REPEALING SPECIAL
-SPEED ZONES ON HATHWAY AND KENTUCKY)STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10.56.010 of the Municipal Code shall
be amended as follows:
SECTION 3215. MODIFYING THE STATE SPEED LIMIT ON, CERTAIN
OR PORTIONS THEREOF.
It is hereby determined upon the basis.of an engineering
and traffic investigation that the speed otherwise permitted by
state law upon the following streets does not fall within
reasonable or safe limits under the conditions found to exists
upon such streets. It is hereby declared that the prima facie
speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those streets or
parts of streets herein designated when signs are erected
giving notice thereof:

SECTION 2. This ordinance, together with the ayes and
noes, shall be published once in full, at least three (3) days
prior to its final passage in the Telegram Tribune, a newspaper
published and circulated in said City, and the same shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its
said final passage.
INTRODUCED AND PASSED TO PRINT by the Council of the City
of San Luis Obispo at a meeting on the 1st. day of May
1984, on motion of Councilman Dunin , seconded by
Councilman Griffin
, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Dunin, Griffin, Dovey and Vice -Mayor Settle
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Billig
