ORDINANCE' No. 120 (New-Series-)
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING MINOR STREET, PROVIDING FOR
THR EXECUTION OF A DEED CONVEYING THE TITLE TO SAID
STREET, PROVIDING FOR TEE ACQUISITION OF A NEW ,STREET
AND FIXING THE' OFFICIAL MUIE. OF SAND NEW STREET.
Be. it. ordained by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. That Minor Street, as the: same. now exists in
the City of San Luis Obispo, be: and, the same. is hereby abandoned
as a. public street.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to make, execute and deliver, for and on behalf of
and Nicholas. Ricciardi
the City"of San Luis Obispo, a.dee,d conveying to Clinton L. Slushe.r/
all the right, title: and inte:re.st of the. City of San Luis. Obispo
in and to said Minor Street.
SECTION 3. That. prior to: the delivery of the deed of the
City of San Luis Obispo to Clinton Z.�dSlushe :stherelshall be;
conveyed to the. City of San Luis: Obispo, in lieu of said Minor
Street abandone:d under the. provisions of this ordinance, the.
following described property which shall be and constitute a public
street, to be. known as Hillcrest Place to -wit:
All that part of Block No. Twelve. (12) of Phillips
Addition to the City of San Luis Obispo, according to the_ Map of said
Addition entitled, "Map of that portion of the-Phillips Addition to
the City of San Luis Obispo, California. Subdivided for Edwin Goodall,
September 1887 ", which said map was,filed for record on August 27,
1902 and 'recorded in Book A of Maps, page-162, San Luis Obispo County
Records, described as follows:- -
Beginning .t

which said point is 121 fe.et northerly from the northwesterly
corner of Park and Minor Streets, as: said streets now exist,
and running thence:southwes.terly and parallel with the northerly
line.of said Minor Street, across said Block No. 12, to the
Easterly line of Grove. S,tree�t; thence. southeasterly, along the.
easterly line of Grove Street, fifty (50) feet; thence. north-
easterly and parallel with the:northerly line of Minor Street,
across said Block No. 12, to the westerly line' of Park Street;
thence northwesterly along the westerly line: of Park Street,

SECTION C The. City Clerk is hereby directed toL publish
this ordinance., together .with the ayes and noes, for two days before
its final passage, in the Daily. Telegram, a daily newspaper, printed,
