NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the city of
San Luis Obispo will sell at public auction the following described
parcel of land within the City of San Luis Obispo:
Lot 2, Block 45 of the City of San Luis
Obispo Zoned Rte.. Lot size, 50 ft x 115 ft
MINIMUM BID: $2,500.00
TERMS: Cash within 10 days after sale
The Public Auction will be held in the Council Chambers at the City
Hall, 990 Palm Street on February 1, 1960, at 8 :00 P.M.

Dear Sirs:.
Below is an itemized statement of the expense I was
put to in order to clear the title to,the lot, detailed.as Lot.
2 block 45, City of San Luis Obispo, California, sold to me on
May 31 1960, and the title guanteed afid backed up by the City
when sold to mep as stated to me by your City Clerk, Mr. -Fitz-
patrick, in the following statement; "The City of San Luis
Obispo stands by.the title to this property"
It developed that the City of San Luis Obispo did
not own the measurements of the lot sold me, and it became ne-
cessary to secure a quit claim deed from the Souther'A?acific
Railroad, and the cost of attorney fees to clear the sale of
this lot,* therefore I am asking remuneration of this cost from
the City of San Luis'Obispo in the amounts'as detailed below:
