TO THE CITY OF Spa LUIS OBISPO
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
WZW.Sm on the 1st day of February, 1960, the Council of the City of
San Luis Obispo did pass and adopt Resolution Ito. 627 giving notice of the
proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of San Luis Obispo,
said territory being therein dasi.gnated as "Johnson Annexation," said Resolution
describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHOR,EAS, said Resolution No. 627 did contain a notice of the day, hour

and place when and where the Council l of the City would hear protests made by
any persona &. -ming real property within the territory proposed to be annexed,
the time of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty days
from the date of passage of said Resolution; and
WSEREfAS, on the 21st day of March, 1960, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m.
in the Cotweil Chambers in the City Hall of the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,, said time and place being the
day, hour and place Mixed in said llesoliation Ada. 627 for nearing protests to
the said annexations the said City Council did hear and pass upon all.-protests:
made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had snot been
made by the oxmer6 cif .tine -half of the value of the privately owned. territory
proposed to be annexed .as shown by the lest equalized assessment roll, ,:nor by
public (tuners of one•7half of the value of. the .publi.cly owned territory proposed
to be annexed as determined by said ,legislative body; and

and is uninhabited territory in the County 'of .San Luis Obispo;

hereby approve the Eannaxation of the.territory hereinafter described to the
City of San Luis Obispo, Fwd does hereby further ordain that the said.terri-
gory be and is hereby :.annexed to the* City -of San Lewis Obispo..
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City. ,of $an Luis
Obispo is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County-of
Sang Luis Obispo, btata Of California, more particularly described as follows.

known locally as French Street, all in the County of San Luis Obispo,

Book A, Page 161 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of

Beginning at a point in the existing city boundary as said boutsadary
was established by Resolution No. 152 of the Council of the City of
Sass Luis Obispo on December 30 1956; said Point being known as corner

..This ordinance,. together with the apes and noes, shall be published once
in fall, at least three: days before its final passaged in the Telegram- Tribune,
a newspaper published and circulated in said city, and the same shall go into
effect at the expiration of thirty days after its final passage.
